Anonymizer.com (www.anonymizer.com)
When you surf the web, you usually leave behind various information about yourself such as IP address, type of browser and operating system you use, and what you did on the Internet. And despite whatever you do to hide yourself, there is no such thing as complete anonymity. You are recorded on somebody’s activity logs the very moment you dial your phone company. That is where Anonymizer comes in.

B & H Photo and Video (www.bhphoto.com)
B&H Photo Video is one of most reputable shops online and offline to buy photo, video, audio, and computer equipment. Professionals around the world know about B+H, and trust them not to get it wrong, and they are right, B + H rarely gets it wrong. The sales personnel seem honest, the service is excellent, but sometimes it may leave you feeling a little cold. If you get the chance to visit their store, do so ...

Ben & Jerry's (store.benjerry.com)
Most of the smaller items available cost around $3 to 7. But by far the most expensive thing you can purchase at the B and J online shop is the ICBM (Ice Cream by Mail). I nearly fell out of my chair LOL when I read this. Ice Cream by Mail is basically a six-pack of your favorite flavors delivered overnight for… $64.95.

Bloomingdales (www.bloomingdales.com)
When you shop at Bloomingdales, generally you browse, browse, and browse, and come back to buy when they have a sale. However, when you shop online at Bloomingdales.com, you lose the shopping experience. The only company you have is you, and...

Casio Watches (www.casio.com/watches)
Casio Watch Online features no nonsense product description with pictures of the watches in question. You can purchase watches online through their direct sales arm, but the prices are pretty much manufacturer suggested retail prices. To get a better price, you may want to shop elsewhere.

eBay (www.ebay.com)
As a potential buyer, you have to read every listing carefully, much more carefully than you read the fine print on, let's say, a mortgage statement. Sometimes I find items listed as "current models" are in reality discontinued items; sometimes details are conveniently left out leading one to believe an item is a production model, when, in reality, it...

IRS (www.irs.gov)
In all seriousness, the IRS is a one-stop tax shopping resource. The website takes the form of a daily newsletter, suffused with cheery humor, and they always seem to remind people that the tax filing deadline is quickly approaching, even if it is 224 days until filing! You will find tax information, statistics and demographics, and plenty of tax forms. Any federal tax form you need, even the most arcane ones, you will find at IRS.gov

J&R Music World (www.jandr.com)
Reputable, offering competitive, but not cut-rate prices. Customer service is sometimes a miss. J and R is where the smart tourist comes to buy electronics. The dumb tourist buys from an electronics place in Times Square, either unintentionally because they just didn’t know better, or sometimes just so they can experience what it is like getting ripped off in New York City ...

Neiman Marcus (www.neimanmarcus.com)
Neiman Marcus So who is Neiman Marcus anyway? They are based in Dallas, Texas, and literally are the Saks Fifth Avenue of the south. Although most of what they sell is luxurious, Neiman Marcus is not exclusive as they offer many very affordable items and gifts.

Surfing around RedSox.com, one will find history, news, audio, video, fan forums, scores, and of course, shopping. One can also find detailed information on how to buy tickets, but you can't buy them online. The shop is one short page long listing around 10 items you can buy. The prices are pretty expensive, e.g., a cap is $24.95. there is also an auction link where you can bid on official items.

Saks Fifth Avenue (www.saksfifthavenue.com)
Saks Fifth Avenue For a department store, Saks is pretty expensive. Their clothing is quite good, and fashionable, but expensive because of the designer labels. However, if you are looking for a sale, or clearance items, surf on over to SaksFifthAvenue.com. the online site has sales prominently displayed on their front page.

Staples (www.staples.com)
The Staples retail stores are pretty good in terms of prices and selection, and convenient too with many branches located in my area. Online, the selection is the same as in the retail stores. What you can find in the stores, you can find online. Also with a $50 purchase, you get free delivery on most items, both on and offline.

Starbucks (www.starbucks.com)
Prices for products purchased online are pretty much the same as what you purchase in stores except you pay extra for shipping, and local tax. On top of that, you have to wait for delivery, so why bother? Only if you want to send a gift to someone, or if you are fat cat loaded with cash, and can't even bother walking to the nearest Starbucks, or perhaps you are so coked up on caffeine that it doesn't matter what you do, Starbucks has you hooked for life, and a jolt is just a click away.

Treeloot (www.treeloot.com)
